This study aims to analyze the implementation of storytelling strategies in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and their impact on improving students’ noble character (akhlakul karimah) and learning motivation in junior high schools in Tanjungpinang. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation at three schools: SMPIT Al Madinah, SMP Islam De Green Camp, and SMP Islam Al Adzkia. The findings reveal that storytelling strategies effectively enhance students’ understanding of moral values, foster exemplary behavior, and increase intrinsic motivation in learning PAI. Supporting factors for the success of this strategy include the selection of relevant stories, engaging delivery, and active student involvement in reflection. This study recommends that PAI teachers creatively and contextually apply storytelling strategies to improve learning quality. The recommendation from this study is that PAI teachers should apply storytelling strategies in a well-planned, varied manner, and adapt them to students’ life contexts to enhance learning effectiveness and instill noble values optimally
