INTEGRASI EVALUASI DAN PENGENDALIAN MUTU DALAM UPAYA PENGUATAN KOMPETITIF LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM NASIONAL

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of evaluation and quality control as a strategic approach to strengthening the competitive advantage of Islamic educational institutions at the national level. The background of this research lies in the urgent need for an adaptive, transparent, and value-oriented quality management system in response to globalization challenges and the public's growing skepticism toward religious education institutions. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research, analyzing scientific literature, education policy documents, and accreditation reports. The results reveal that systematic integration of evaluation and quality control fosters a continuous improvement cycle that enhances not only institutional efficiency but also ethical and spiritual values in governance. The impact includes increased accountability, improved academic service quality, and the restoration of public trust in Islamic educational institutions. Furthermore, the findings recommend cross-sectoral collaboration between the government, academia, religious leaders, and the media to ensure the sustainable implementation of quality strategies rooted in Islamic values. This research is expected to serve as a critical reference for policymakers and education practitioners in developing countries
