PENGARUH SEGREGASI GENDER DAN KARAKTER SPRITUAL PADA PEMBELAJARAN PAI TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA MUSLIMAH DI MADRASYAH ALIYAH PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of gender segregation implementation and spiritual character within Islamic Religious Education instruction on the academic achievement of female Muslim students in Islamic Senior High Schools (MA) in the Riau Islands Province. This is a quantitative study utilizing primary data collected via questionnaires. Data collection methods included questionnaires, documentation, and literature review, while the analysis employed statistical techniques comprising instrument validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests (specifically normality testing), and influence analysis. The multiple linear regression analysis revealed the influence of gender segregation (X1) on academic achievement (Y): the regression coefficient for variable X1 was 0.165 with a significance value of 0.047 (less than 0.05), indicating a positive and significant effect on variable Y. Meanwhile, the regression coefficient for variable X2 was 0.675 with a significance value of 0.000 (well below 0.05), demonstrating a positive and highly significant effect on variable Y. The "Model Summary" analysis showed an R-value of 0.866, indicating a very strong simultaneous relationship between the independent variables (X1 and X2) and the dependent variable (Y); this value, approaching 1, signifies a very close relationship. Furthermore, the R-square value of 0.750 implies that 75% of the variation or change in variable Y can be explained by variables X1 and X2 combined, while the remaining 25% is influenced by variables outside the model or by error factors
