Keywords:
Qur'an, Digital Ethics, Communication, Social MediaAbstract
The rapid advancement of digital technology, such as social media, has adapted the way humans communicate. Although it provides convenience in exchanging information and building social networks, social media also creates various ethical issues, such as the spread of hoaxes, hate speech, slander, and privacy violations. In this context, the Qur'an as a guide to Muslim life has fundamental teachings on communication ethics that are relevant to answering communication challenges in the digital age. The research aims to examine the values of digital ethics based on the Qur'anic perspective through a thematic interpretation approach. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method through content analysis techniques of the Qur'anic verses related to communication principles. The results show that the Qur'an teaches principles of communication ethics that are very relevant to the use of social media, both in maintaining personal ethics and in creating a healthy digital space. After reviewing the previous findings, it is concluded that there is no research that specifically uses the thematic tafsĩr approach. The findings contribute to the development of the concept of digital ethics based on Islamic values, and serve as a practical guide for Muslims to interact responsibly in the digital space
