IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM BERBASIS TEKNOLOGI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SISWI DI SMP KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN ANAMBAS

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning abilities in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) through technology-based learning in order to enhance the motivation and academic achievement of students in the Anambas Islands Regency. In conducting this study, the researcher used a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method. The data were collected through observations, interviews, direct field research, and documentation at two schools, namely SMP Negeri 1 Air Nangak and SMP Negeri 3 Putik.  The population in this study consisted of 70 seventh-grade students. Based on the research findings, the students tended to show improvement in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and demonstrated greater enthusiasm for learning through the technologies used by the researcher, namely Google Classroom, Google Forms, and the use of Infocus media. The effective use of instructional media and the implementation of technology are among the factors contributing to success in improving students' learning abilities in Islamic Religious Education (PAI).  However, the lack of internet access, inadequate school facilities, and the limited implementation of technology in schools are among the factors contributing to the failure to improve students' learning abilities, particularly their interest and motivation in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI).
