Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of PowerPoint as a way to increase student learning enthusiasm in Economics by reading and analyzing relevant written works. The background of this study is based on low student learning interest caused by the learning process that is still less interesting or changing the learning method that is less interesting due to the learning process is still monotonous and does not utilize learning media that can attract students. PowerPoint was chosen because it can present material in a more interesting, visual, and interactive way, thereby helping to increase student attention and enthusiasm for learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach by studying 10 relevant scientific journals published between 2022 and 2026. Data collection techniques were carried out by documenting and searching various journals from Google Scholar, and other educational journal sites. Data analysis was carried out by identifying, comparing, and summarizing the results of previous studies related to the use of PowerPoint media in the learning process. The results show that the use of PowerPoint media can increase learning interest, learning motivation, student participation, and student achievement. In addition, PowerPoint also helps make the learning atmosphere more exciting, interesting, and not boring. Therefore, PowerPoint can be used as a good learning medium to increase students' enthusiasm for learning in Economics lessons
