ISLAMISASI ILMU BERBASIS TASAWWUF
Keywords:
Islamization of Knowledge, Based on, SufismAbstract
The term "Islamization of Science" was coined by Ismail Raji al-Faruqi as a response to Western science, which tends to separate religion from science. The development of Islamization has expanded its scope, encompassing almost all fields of Islamic science. This includes Sufism, as developed by contemporary Islamic thinkers Husain Nasr and others such as al-Attas and his student Wan Daud Wan Mohammad Nor Wan Daud. The integration of science and Sufism is based on the principle of Tawhid, where science is seen as a path of worship to understand God's creation towards divine unity, not a separate entity from religion. Nasr criticized modern secular science, which is profane and disconnected from the spiritual dimension.
