Abstract

Economics learning using conventional approaches tends to produce students who are disengaged and unmotivated to learn. Therefore, the use of innovative learning media that aligns with the characteristics of 21st-century students is necessary. The purpose of this study is to explain how Kahoot is used as an economics learning tool and how it helps 10th-grade students at SMA Pembina Palembang become more active, motivated, and understand the material. This study uses a qualitative methodology designed with a descriptive approach. Sources obtained from this research are based on literature studies. During the learning process, direct observation of the demand and supply material was used to collect data. The results show that Kahoot is able to increase student engagement and desire to learn, strengthen students' understanding of economic concepts, and facilitate teachers' evaluation of learning.Kahoot can be used as a useful alternative learning media for use in schools.
