Abstract

This study aims to describe the decision-making process of madrasah principals in improving the quality of education through the use of gadgets as a digital literacy instrument. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the locus at MTs Negeri 1 Kota Gorontalo. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that madrasah principals' decision-making is carried out through the stages of problem identification, development of alternative solutions, and impact evaluation. The use of gadgets is integrated into e-learning and digital library-based learning, which significantly increases information accessibility and student engagement. Policy support in the form of targeted regulations on gadget use is key to the success of digital literacy in improving the quality of graduates
