This study was motivated by the increasing academic pressure experienced by nursing students, which may negatively affect their mental health, while mental health literacy and gender equality attitudes have not been integratively addressed in higher education interventions. The research gap lies in the limited studies integrating mental health psychoeducation with national values as a culturally based preventive approach. This study aimed to examine the effect of Pancasila values-based mental health psychoeducation on mental health literacy and gender equality attitudes among nursing students. The study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental one-group pre-test–post-test design. The sample consisted of 30 Diploma III nursing students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a mental health literacy scale and a gender equality attitude scale and analyzed using a paired sample t-test with SPSS. The results showed a significant increase in both mental health literacy and gender equality attitudes after the intervention (p < .05). These findings indicate that Pancasila values-based psychoeducation is an effective preventive strategy in promoting psychological well-being and fostering inclusive attitudes among nursing students
