This article explores the concept of optimism in the Qur’an through an analysis of Surah Al-Inshirah verses 5-6, using a psychological approach and the perspective of iʿjāz ṭibbī (medical miraculousness in the Qur’an). These verses emphasize that every difficulty is certainly accompanied by ease, which psychologically serves as a powerful means of mental recovery when facing life’s pressures. This study employs a qualitative-descriptive method with a thematic tafsir approach and Qur’anic psychology. The analysis reveals that the repetition of meaning in both verses provides a deep positive suggestion, strengthens psychological resilience, and evokes hope in critical situations. From the iʿjāz ṭibbī perspective, these verses demonstrate a spiritual healing potential that significantly impacts mental health, such as reducing stress and anxiety. Thus, Surah Al-Inshirah verses 5–6 deliver not only a theological message but also contain a therapeutic dimension that supports the balance of human soul and body.
