This study examines the concepts and principles of educational administration as a foundational framework for managing educational institutions, with a particular focus on Islamic educational contexts in Indonesia. Despite extensive theoretical discourse on educational administration, a systematic synthesis of its guiding principles, especially within the framework of Islamic educational institutions, remains limited. Using a qualitative library research approach, data were collected from books, academic journals, and relevant scholarly sources, which were then analyzed through data reduction, structured presentation, and descriptive-analytical conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that educational administration is guided by five core principles, efficiency, management, task prioritization, effective leadership, and collaboration, complemented by five operational principles, flexibility, goal orientation, continuity, efficiency-effectiveness, and lifelong education. These principles collectively form an adaptive and sustainable administrative system. The consistent application of these principles by school principals and administrative staff is demonstrated to improve organizational performance, strengthen coordination among educational components, and support optimal attainment of educational objectives. This study contributes theoretically to educational administration scholarship and offers practical guidance for practitioners in designing effective administrative policies within Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia
